Contact thermography is a functional method of imaging an oragan. Tumor development is associated with a higher temperature in the place where thw cancer is growing. Braster can detect those areas of higher temperature. When the device is applied to the skin, a liquid-crystal matrix creates an image representing the distribution of temperature among inner tissues. Those thermographic images are sent for further analysis.
Innovative Breast Examination Systems
Braster Pro is a certified class IIa medical device for use in clinical settings which:

is complementary to ultrasound and mammography examinations

differs from breast ultrosonography in that it uses liquid crystal contact thermography to detect thermal changes from the surface of the breast, even at an early stage

uses AI algorithms that are able to interpret the thermographic images produced during the examinations

detects thermal irregularities that require confirmation by diagnostic methods or healthcare consultation
THE EFFICACY OF BRASTER PRO HAS BEEN CONFIRMED
81.5% sensitivity*
(95% Cl [64.1; 92.6])
87% sensitivity*
(95% Cl [64.1; 92.6])
71% PPV*
(95% Cl [64.1; 92.6])
92.2% NPV*

BRASTER PRO USES CONTACT THERMOGRAPHY
The image is obtained through the contact of the device with examined surface based on heat transfer by thermal
conduction [e.g. liquid-crystal forehead thermometers, Braster device].

KEY BENEFITS OF BRASTER PRO
Affordable, mobile and easy to handle – greatly
increases access to breast examinations
Designed for women
Able to detect very small changes in the breasts
